DIY Flower Crown
Nothing helps celebrate the arrival of spring and the Easter holiday like a beautiful bunch of colorful flowers. Plus, we all could use some flowers to brighten our day any time of year. And why just decorate with them when you can wear them?!
Materials:
- Kid Made Modern Arts & Crafts Supply Library
- Felt Strips
- Cardstock
- Crown decorations: sequins, beads, etc.
- Scissors
- Hot glue gun (REMINDER: exercise precaution and supervise kids when using a hot glue gun)
Steps:

Assemble band -- use the hot glue gun to glue strips of felt together creating a band that will fit around the crown of your head.

Add flowers -- cut petals and flowers out of cardstock and glue along the band. You can draw them on the back of the cardstock first or cut them freehand. Try layering them as well.

Decorate flowers -- use sequins, beads, and other do-dads from the kit to add another layer of decoration.
