DIY Mini Easter Bunny Masks
Celebrate Easter in style, Easter Bunny style that is! These simple, hand-held masks are perfect to dress up for the Spring season and make being festive easy, which is ideal for every parent. The pastel color palette is one of my favorite parts of crafting for Easter and these masks include all the best vibrant, pastel shades.
We’ll be exploring the Kid Made Modern Arts and Crafts Supply Library to create our mini bunny masks that feature pom poms, fuzzy sticks and wooden craft sticks. We’ll also give you some extra inspiration to adorn the wooden craft stick handle if you want to give it a little dimensional detail as well. Each bunny mask uses a small number of supplies but can be customized in tons of color options so everyone in the family can have their own bunny mask!
Materials Needed:
-
Kid Made Modern Arts and Crafts Supply Library
- Fuzzy Sticks
- Pom Poms
- Wooden Craft Sticks
- White Felt Strips
- Wooden Beads (optional for extra pizazz!)
- White Craft Glue
- Scissors
- Glue Dots
Instructions:
Step 1
To create your mini bunny mask, start by cutting the felt strips into small white rectangles, these will become the bunny teeth on your mask. Using glue dots, attach the two rectangles to a wooden craft stick, about 1” from the top.
Step 2
Next, add 2 medium sized pom poms to the wooden craft stick, using glue dots, one on each pom pom, layer them slightly on top of the rectangles to cover the top of them and leaving a small portion of the wooden craft stick visible at the top.
Step 3
Using another glue dot, stick 1 small pom pom on the exposed wooden craft stick above the two medium pom poms to create a bunny nose.
Step 4
Cut two 12” fuzzy sticks into thirds and turn the wooden craft stick over. With a glue dot attached to each end, place the fuzzy sticks onto the craft stick. Adhere the top and bottom at slight diagonals and the third fuzzy stick centered to create whiskers on both sides.
Step 5
Turn the wooden craft stick back to the front and your mask is ready to wear!
I love sharing these seasonal crafts with you and hope they give you a few moments of creativity and happiness as you get ready for an upcoming holiday!
Hold up your bunny mask and make your best impression of the Easter Bunny all Easter long!
Thanks for crafting with us and Happy Easter!
