Begin by assembling a skull! Take a white pom pom from the Arts and Crafts Library and use the white glue to attach two black or blue gems to the top of the pom pom. These will become the skull's eyes! Glue a small dark bead or piece of felt onto the center of the pom pom for the nose.

Then, glue the back of the pom pom to a sparkly fuzzy stick. Twist the remainder of the fuzzy stick around your kiddo’s finger and they'll have an awesome sparkly skull ring to wear! 

Ocean Animal Collage Art

Explore the seas with this wonderful ocean art! For this craft, your artist needs thick and thin pieces of cardboard, and a host of supplies found in Kid Made Modern’s Studio In A Box.

First, use a black marker to draw your favorite ocean animals on a thin piece of cardboard. Then, paint them in! Use the watercolor paints found in the Studio In A Box for twelve colorful hues. With adult supervision, have your young artist use scissors to cut out the animal shapes once they have dried.

Next, it’s time to create the background. Use the Studio In A Box acrylic paints to paint a blue ocean scene onto the thicker piece of cardboard. Once the cardboard has dried, begin to assemble your collage! Take a small square of cardboard and glue it to the center of the background, then glue the animal on top of the small square. This helps it to stand out from the background. 

Lastly, decorate the animal with googly eyes, fuzzy sticks, and pom poms for an awesome 3-D effect.
